Community Hub
With the improvements of technology, we are all connected as a community virtually on the net and as time prolongs, we sometimes find ourselves lacking connection to our immediate neighbours and friends that we see daily. This concern maybe deteriorate due to the lack of platform for social activities to take place. As of now I think that the existing community structure does not provide the necessity to help this alleviate this issue.
The current community hub structure lacks the capability to withstand the immense number of residence which result in the lack of efficiency.
The new proposed community hub structure will aim to be more effective in reaching a reasonable amount of target audience.
The car park provides a good opportunity as they are specifically calculated to serve a set amount of residence within its vicinity. Often, the highest few levels of the car park are underused and it becomes a space that does not fulfill its function. The proposed idea will make this space capable of adapting to its surrounding needs.
